Dorm Haul!!!

Honestly, my favorite thing about back-to-school time is the shopping. I love shopping for my new dorm items—even if I don’t need it—to make sure that I am 100% comfortable during my four months away at school. Even though I love back-to-school shopping, I don’t just go on a crazy expensive dorm haul, I am extremely frugal about where I spent my money and how much money I spend. Here are a couple of my favorite places to shop for dorm haul.
Bed, Bath & Beyond
This is like dorm heaven. When July and August come around this place id filled to the ceiling—literally—with stuff that will blow your mind. There is an unbelievable amount of stuff in this place, and they always have a 20% off coupon. However, you cannot get too overwhelmed at the dorm essentials in this haven because when you turn the price tag around you may go into hysterics. The items in this store can sometimes get pricey so I would shop in the clearance section first.
Target
Who doesn’t love Target? Target has one of the best “Get Ready For College” promos form any store that I have seen thus far. They have the most aesthetically pleasing designs and room sets that every 18-year-old girl wants I her first dorm. It’s like they can read our minds. I usually get the bulk of my stuff from here in late summer. Typically, in late July is when they have to best sales on their dorm and back-to-school stuff.
Walmart
Walmart is a close competitor for when it comes to dorm and back-to-school shopping. They carry a good amount of color variations and styles for dorm hauls; however, I would use this as a back-up to Target. Walmart does have a great selection for more necessity items like bath/body, personal care, first aid, etc. Prices, however, are relatively low so don’t cross them off your list yet.
Estates Sales
Many people don’t know about this option, but I love doing this if I want something that no one else has or I want to browse some unique items. Estate sales are like garage sales but usually done through an agency or a company that organizes it for the clients. The app that I currently use for these is Estatesales.net where I can find upcoming sales near me, or anywhere, I want. Each individual sale shows pictures or items being sold, the date of the sale, who is giving the sale, and the address is displayed the day before the actual sale begins.
